Gaute M. Sortland

Described by one critic as a «bag of marbles», this small book is packet with little shiny short stories from everyday life of everyday people. Funny, melancholy, nostalgic and rural. Many of the short stories derives from the comforts (and discomforts) of home, and we used this as a premise when creating the title. Each letter is painted using different house hold objects in or around the house. A toothbrush, a twig from the garden, the cat's tail, a dish glove etc.
