Kodane is the first book by composer, musician and author Olav Øyehaug. Following the debut, he was awarded «Veslebrorprisen» by a jury describing his work as being unexpectedly different, refreshing, upsetting, funny and absurd.
In the book, whose title roughly translates into «The Codes», he presents a selection of short stories filled with humour, surrealism and absurdity. For the cover illustrations we attempted to create a feeling of something familiar, yet strange and unidentifiable.
