Vagant

4 covers and 20 decorative illustrations for publication on literature and critique. The editors gave us a carte blanche for these slightly surreal illustrations. All but the cover is printed in black and white, and we wanted to use this limitation to our advantage, so most of the photographic tableaus consist of black and white objects only. The photos for each cover were taken in one great photo shoot and with many of the same elements to ensure a continuity. Different angles, lighting and combinations of elements was used to give each issue its own identity. The illustrations was published throughout 2007 in four different issues of Vagant.
